How does it work?

Each ticket purchased is entered into both 250 Club draws, held in June and December.

A random, independently witnessed, draw takes place with the following cash prizes awarded in each draw:

3 x £30, 2 x £50, 3 x £100, 1 x £500

A maximum of 250 tickets are sold

What are the funds used for?

Once the prizes have been deducted, any surplus funds are allocated to support our football pitch renovation programme. We have recently been granted access to the Football Foundation's Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund and we are about to embark on a 6-year programme where up to £42,000 will be invested in the pitch. Of this, the LBA will need to contribute £14,000 and every penny raised through the 250 Club will now be allocated to this.

The 250 Club was originally set up in the 1960s by Brian Howard of Howard’s Nurseries as part of the fund raising for the initial purchase of the sports field and building of the original pavilion, so it is fitting that funds are now being put towards the next generation of sports field users.
