We're holding the 47th Lower Beeding Village Fete on Saturday 21 June, which will start as usual at 2pm and run through until 5pm. The Fete acts as one of the main fundraising activities for the Lower Beeding Association, and helps to support the maintenance and running costs of the Hall and Sports Field.
All being well, there will be the usual great mix of live music, dance, races and fun and games, plus teas/coffees, plenty of cake and of course a well stocked bar! All this couldn't happen without the support of a small army of volunteers. We are always on the lookout for more helpers, as not only do 'many hands make light work' but it also means we can potentially broaden the scope of the activities on offer on the day.
Whether you have a few hours to spend in the weeks running up to the fete to do a little leafletting and donation collection, are available to help run a stall on the day, or are able to spend a couple of hours on the day of the morning of the fete to assist with setting up, we would love to here from you. Please do consider getting in contact by emailing Fete@LBAssociation.co.uk
Likewise, if you work for or own a local company that might be able to support the fete in some way, such as donating a prize for the Grand Raffle; sponsoring an attraction; or, covering the expenses associated with marketing in return for a prominent mention in Fete promotional material, please get in contact: Fete@LBAssociation.co.uk
Finally, if you are interested in having your own arts/craft or other type of commercial stall at the Fete, please also make contact - our rates are very reasonable.
